Camping

There are many primitive camping possibilities along the Mon, but much of the property is privately owned. Remember to get permission to camp and to use facilities.

This brochure is designed to enhance your experience of this river and to encourage you to respect it through "leave no trace" boating and camping

Docking Facilities

Commercial marinas or docks usually allow overnight tie-ups for a fee. It is a good idea to call ahead to make arrangements. By the summer of 2006, construction of docks for "non-trailerable" boats will be under way in several additional locations on the Upper Mon.
