The "Trail Maps" are intended to provide general information, and recreational information. When actually traveling the river you should also have the official Navigation Charts.

The U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers, Pittsburgh District publishes books of charts on paper which
provide lots of detailed information. Call 412-395-7155 or visit
the Corps' website at http://www.lrp.usace.army.mil/
for further information.
The Corps also has .PDF versions of the charts on their website
which can be downloaded to a laptop or printed free of charge.
Quimby's Cruising Guide: Annual Directory for Cruising the Inland Waterways. Published by The Waterways Journal. This book includes basic black-and-white charts, and provides information on boater services, such as overnight dockage and fuel. It costs about $25. 314-241-7354.
County Road Maps. These maps will help you find your way on the back roads to the river. To order maps. contact each states' Department of Highways.
